Looks like iBuyPower or CyberPower, so I'm going to say it's garbage.need opinions on this pc build
I've heard that before, but I can't even get the individual parts that are there for as cheap as that build on cyberpower... I've priced every component by the same manufacturers as on that build and it comes back higher... I guess I'd rather have someone to blame if it doesn't work right, also... I put it together thinking I could do my own upgrading later.
Id agree with Hiryuu when he says ibuypower and cyberpower is garbageanyway, I'll be back with a list of parts from newegg.com when their ****ty server stops crapping out on me
I'd love to see what you can come up with.
I'd love to see what you can come up with.
would you care to display your system specs of what you are looking for that isn't a wall of text with absolutely no punctuation or indentation?
heh... sorry, couldn't paste it properly... basically its like this:http://e3ssltest.newegg.com/NewVersion/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.asp?ID=6765228that's the main components, the two raptors would be in raid 0, the build on cyberpower is only 1gig of ram because upgrading is to damn expensive (I would get 2 or eventually 4 from newegg), I took the big ol' case because I don't want to ever have to buy another one, I wanted enough power for SLI, hence the 850w psu, and I stuck with XP for compatibility issues but I do plan on upgrading this to Vista eventually.
Okay... you're doing something horribly odd in Cyberpower, because I just went in and matched your configuration on the AMD SLi-Ready Build and the total comes out to $2,777 before tax or shipping. $3,071 after tax and shipping for me in CA.

Getting most of the main components on newegg (I had 2GB of Patriot RAM instead, and a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme instead) was at $2,100ish.. I hadn't picked up the OS, second Raptor drive, backup media drive or two optical drives yet. Everything else was in.
you have to start with the gamer ultra xlc... I tried pricing it from different configurations and it came back much higher every time... must be a glitch or something as my cart says $2181 before the 5% discount... I almost have to buy it for that, right?

it is shared... don't know why you can't see it...

mine came out to 2400 on the right hand cart... way cheaper, yeah. i don't get it :D
it is shared... don't know why you can't see it...
wait, do I have to login?
so, yeah, even if they do put it together poorly the parts I've chosen are decent at least and I should be able to get it put together properly...
Cyberpower gets an ify from me. Some on here rave that it is a great site and others say Cyber sucks. Why are you going with AMD? I hope things turn out fine for you as for myself, I'd rather build a computer.:)
I've never built one before and I don't want my first attempt to be a $2k investment. I chose AMD because it's quite a bit more affordable. And for the price they're giving me on there I can't even buy the individual components.
