What color is the pixel? if its Black its dead, if its white green red or blue the pixel is stuck and you can find a program that rapidly turns them on and off to unstick them
Wow you can and all along i thought my pixelwas dead any cahnce you could give me a link to that program?
stuck pixels look here: http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Stuck-Pixel-on-an-LCD-Monitor
Yeah I would like a link too, I have an old monitor that has a pixel like that, I thought dead pixels were pink, wll this one is white or pink or green or whatever, its definatly not black.
if you look on the wikihow link you'll see you dont need a program to fix it you just have to put acurate blunt presure on the dead pixel to re-equilize the liquid inside
Well i just used the presure method and its gone (although it wasnt much of aproblem where it was on the screen) :D
I had a dead pixel on my old ASUS 22'' WS LCD.Took it back to the score, got a free replacement with deadpixel check and I was able to take the new one home straight away. :DGive Dell a call adn see what they can do about it.
