Vista Internet Help

Ok, so I got my grandfather a laptop with Vista Home Basic on it, and I'm at their house right now.I've tapped into someone's internet in the neighborhood, which is why I'm able to post here. I want my grandfather's laptop to be able to access this connection, but it can't for some reason. The Wi-Fi Switch is turned on, and the connection is there, so I don't understand why it can'tconnect if I can. Any way to fix this?P.S: I can always hook upmy grandfather'sDial-Up Internet, but because of the phone line, he won't able to carry it all over his home, which kind of defeats the purpose of a laptop.Vista Internet Help

Sorry..I dont know what you can do..Make sure the wireless router is setup correctly, reset it if necessaryI cant remember anything else.. i had wifi but hated it
