thanks
the 7950gt is betterbut the reason people will recommend a dx10 card is because the 8800gts cards have a much better architecture, meaning new series with newer technology. 8800gts has better performance then two 7950gt in sli in some cases. Not to mention that the 8800gts is $300 or less. but if you must get one of those cards my choice would be the 79501950pro or 7950gt???
I would choose the x1950 Pro. It can be had for 155 USD or 180 CDN.
thanks ninja... amyone else have other ideas? btw im in singapore soo an 8800gts would cost ard 500 to 600SGD.... i think ur refering to USD

Evga/BFg/xfx those are good brands as they all come with a life time waranty ( the xfx comes wit ha double life time waranty).

thanks guys..... hmm isnt the x1900xt good?
Either card should suffice although you will probably find more people suggesting the 7950.The knock against the 1950 pro is it is reported that it does not overclock well. Then again I don't know if such a thing would bare any weight in your decision. Happy hunting.
thanks guys..... hmm isnt the x1900xt good?
It is okay but the 1950 is better.. But I still reccomend 7950gt

yes yes.... he is being an idiot....
Uhh.. the X1950XT wrecks the 7950GT.Everyone that just recommended the 7950GT over the X1950XT is obviously an nVidia fanboy.
