I have a pretty weak PC and have a few questions about games.1. Will it be able to run Crysis (preferably on Medium but Low would be okay too)?2. Will Two Worlds look better on my 360 or my PC?Specs:Intel?Core%26#153; 2 E6320 Duo Processor(4MB L2 cache,1.86GHz,1066FSB)2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTSSingle Drive: 16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) w/double layer write capability ThanksFew Questions
Thats not exactly weak...The only thing you may want to upgrade is the graphics card but I'm sure you will still run Crysis on the 8600Few Questions
k thanks. Anyone know weather Two Worlds will run better on my PC or 360?
medium for dx9 in crysis, low possibly unplayable in dx10. I would recommend getting a 8800 320mb GTS, I would think in that case the x-box 360 game will look better. however get the 8800 and you will leave the 360 in the dust.
filmography are you saying i wont be able to play crysis? And also im for the game im not talking so much about visuals, rather frame rate and loading times
Bump.
Your video card isnt that great ,:Pbut a decent rig. You can play any game that will be released in the next year.
I don't much like your sig roulettethedog, but thanks for clarifying I'll be able to handle Crysis.Only question left is Will Two Worlds run better (frame rate and loading times) on my 360 or my PC?
PS i do plan on upgrading my video card someday. Does anyone know if there is a price drop coming up for the 8800 GTS? (like maybe early '08?)
PS i do plan on upgrading my video card someday. Does anyone know if there is a price drop coming up for the 8800 GTS? (like maybe early '08?)
1) That card is decent, although for the performance/price ratio, I would have gone for a 8600GT. Anyway, that pc will probably be able to play crysis on med/high settings (depending on resolution)2) The next big price drop for the 8800GTS 320mb will be around december, when the new nividia cards come out. But with that card, you'll probably be better off waiting until the 9k series decreases in price and grab one of them, cos that gpu will last a while.
well unplayable in the sense that you get 8 -10 FPS and you lag so bad playing is a nightmare, but thats for dx10. dx9 i'm sure you can get medium at 1280x1024. Even the crysis preview in PC gamer said a 8800 is strongly recommend, and benches of the 8600 GT really dont lend itself to the idea of being decent in dx10 when it gets beat in dx9 by the 7950 GT or the x1900 pro
