8.5/10 looks great.
I got more fans :) 3 on the side, 1 on top, 2 in front, 1 on the back, 1 on the power supply, 1 on my cpu fan, 1 on the video, 1 pci slot fan nice... 7 case fans +4 other fans.If you want 10, get a quad core with a phase change unit, 4 gigs of pc3- 1333 + 2x 8800 ultras in sli.My Dell XPS 410...
uh cool
Very nice rig, maybe if the RAM was 800mhz except of the 667MHz, that would have been sweeter.By the way, how much did it cost you?
PSU, CPU and GPU fans are kind of a given so they don't really count...8/10
9/10A 24 inch or larger monitor would've earned you a 9.5. Everything else is looking perfect.
PSU, CPU and GPU fans are kind of a given so they don't really count...8/10
lol, thats what i was thinking. but it would be funny if dell ship him a computer with no cpu and gpu fans
Very nice rig, maybe if the RAM was 800mhz except of the 667MHz, that would have been sweeter.By the way, how much did it cost you?
With all the rebates and stuff, about $1,900
RAM is only 667MHz , Motherboard doesnt seem to support SLi, E66 is about to become yesterdays news in a few weeks (July 22nd) so I say8.5 / 10
good, no one gave me below an 8, whic i was aiming for, plus i got DX10...I could have gotten a quad core, but this was cheaper and had a better GPU...I think i'm almost done with Video games to be honest...
RAM is only 667MHz
Actually, it doesn't need to be faster than DDR2-533. For best performance, the RAM and CPU bus speed should be run at the same speed. On a quad-pumped, 1066MHz FSB processor such as the e6600, the actual CPU bus speed is 266MHz, which is the same as the actual clock rate of DDR2-533.So running the memory bus at 333MHz (DDR-667) wouldn't increase performance; it may actually decrease performance by a percent or two.
