they said crysis will run on 3 year old comps, so hard to tell if it runs on yours or not. but even if it works you have to put everything on lowest settings.

Pentium 4 CPUs are very flexible so theres no telling what you can run really, they tend to surprise you so I don't know why everyone talkes so bad about them.

Thats stupid. And it will run on a pent 4 there not useless quite yet. Tho they are starting to show age.
If you have a decent video card, I think you may be able to run Crysis on low settings. Your C.P.U. should be fine, but low R.A.M. may hinder preformance.
What about a pentium 4, 2.8?

So as long as he has good gpu (X1950XT, 8800GTs), he will more than likely pull off high settings just fine, but yeah just step that ram up to 2 gigs and put in a good video card and Crysis should run great.

It should run just not on the greatest settings. If you have the cooling you can overclock it P4's are great for that.
