new computer...help

ive been thinking about getting a new computer. A basic one for school work and such. Lets say i a get a decent computer, would it be able to play battlefield 2 and the new COD that is coming out?new computer...help

really? How about a premade one though?
i have a pretty low budget. i dont mind trying to build a computer. but im asking if its better to get a basic premade computer that can play bf2 and other modern games. or should i try building one on a low budget?
