Im overclocking my e6600 on a Gigabyte 945P S3 motherboard, it has something called MIT in the bios and all Im doing is raising the FSB, there are other settings but I dont know if I should change them. I havent gone very far and am currently running at 2.6ghz, Ive run 3dmark 06 and got an additional 200 cpumarks which seems about right. Is what Im doing safe or are there other options in the bios i should be changing?Overclocking e6600.
i dunno about the bios and stuff, i'd be careful with that e6600, I've read a lot of threads where people have said that they fried their cpu by over- overclocking them........It's a brilliant overclocker but don't try and push it to hell and back
