Hi, i'm having trouble finding about what is 12Vamppowersupplies on google, so im deciding to make this topic. I was looking at the graphic cards on newegg and reading their specifications, it's said that the mini requirement for the 8800 ultra is a 500W power supply with 12Vcurrent ratingof34 amps. So i checked for the power supplies and many of them were only at 12V1@18A, 12V2@18A, and 12V3@18A. Are those V1, V2, and V3 means by mutiplying the 18A with 1, 2, or 3?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139002does this power supply meet the requirements of the 8800ultra?if so can you plz give me a quick explains. Thx ;)power supplies questions
You add up all of the amps on each 12V rail... yeah... it was a long time before I figured it out.

The Corsair has 3 18amp rails but since it doesn't have an OCP, it is treated as a single 50amp rail.
If you like the Corsair 620, go to Tigerdirect.com as it is cheaper. Yes it will run your card because they tested the 620 with SLI (2) 8800GTX'S here. http://www.legitreviews.com/article/462/1/
