Ram amount

Hey guys, I know I asked this yesterday but I still cannot decide what I want to do. How long do you think 2gb of ram will be enough for gaming? I ask this because I current have 1gb (OCZ ddr2 800 2x512) and can get another pair of 2x512 of OCZ. This will have filled all RAM sockets in my motherboard therefore i cannot upgrade unless I sell a pair of them.. That is why I ask how long will 2gb of ram be enough? If its going to be a couple of years, i'll get it.. If not, i'll save up more money and get the 2x1024 sticks..Ram amount

Hmm Well I am using Vista.. Problem with that is that i live in Canada, and not sure if that delivers here. Also if you could find a nice pair at Canada Computers I'd appriciate it. The 2x512 OCZ DDR2 800 is $59CND while the OCZ 2x1024 DDR2 800 is $105 after $40 mailin rebate..
for vista i think around 1 and half years 2gbs wil last.
i have vista and 2gb of ram is more than enough to play stalker at max settings.
i have vista and 2gb of ram is more than enough to play stalker at max settings.
Why I have it modded with sharper textures mod, and some other mods..and I get low memory pop-ups.It would just be better to think ahead, and get more memory, especially with the prices being at a alltime low.EDIT: I have 2gb's of ram
So can you guys give me some concrete decisions..? I can either buy the extra 1gb right now, or live with only 1gb for a while longer and then buy 2gb more when I have the money. If 2 gb is enough for gaming for at least 1 year, then I would prefer getting an extra 1gb now.. If it isn't going to be enough to last me a year, i'd rather wait and save up..

Well i was told to keep the ram the same computer/type etc. when upgrading. I have OCZ Platinum ddr2 800 2x512.. another one of these will cost me $59CND while the 2x1024 will cost me $140.... at http://www.canadacomputers.com which is pretty much the cheapest store to buy from in Canada.PS: What if i was to resort back to XP? Because I didn't knwo Vista was such a system hog and its not polished enough for me to enjoy it. Would it still be the same case?
2gb is enough in this moment, you don't need more
