I need major help quick..

Okay so i was playing stalker and it froze so i shutdown my computer and once it passes the windows boot up screen it is just black and i never get the welcome screen.. So i cant log on and im not sure if something happened to windows or what i have never had issues before.. I have rebooted like 10 time renenforced the hdd cables and all the cables in the computer.. Any help guys!! If i cant get it fixed today im taking it to a gaming comp place in my town.. I need major help quick..

^usually when i serious error occurs you get the message''windows failed to start properly last time due to a malfuction'' yadda yadda then get a list of options to choose from and starting from most recent good configuration is one of the options.
